Palmetto Patriots Initiative

The Palmetto Patriots Initiative is proudly led by the South Carolina Association of County Veterans Affairs Officers (SCACVAO). SCACVAO is made up of Officers from the 46 counties in South Carolina. Officers assist Veterans and their dependents with obtaining the benefits they have earned.

The Palmetto Patriots Intitative supports continued efforts of statewide collaboration between stakeholders through shared information, best practices and community partnerships to accomplish the following two goals:

Educate, Empower and Equip Veterans, advocates and local service providers with updated knowledge to serve their prospective Veterans and Dependents.

Enhance the statewide Veterans service network with the knowledge and support of their County Veterans Affairs Officers.
